OFFERING CLIENTS TAILORED FITNESS TRAINING IN STUNNING EXOTIC LOCATIONS

With over 10 years combined experience in the fitness industry, Johnny and Brad together decided they would combine their passions of Health & Fitness and Travel by founding Action Adventure Holidays. They both felt that they could share with clients, their combined passions, while helping to broaden their fitness experience.

JOHNNY BOURKE

In 2009 John took up Muay Thai training as a way to get fit and lose weight. Battling obesity, taking up Muay Thai was a life-changing decision for John, as he lost almost 40 kilograms in the first year. In that year John competed in his first fight, just to tick it off his bucket list, but in the following three years he’d won multiple titles and competed in 17 fights!

John started Main Event Fitness in 2012 while he was working at another gym. In 2013 John quit his full-time job working in IT and studied to receive his Diploma of Fitness. Upon completing his Diploma John opened a small studio in Geelong to help others follow their dream. Within a year the business had outgrown the studio and John moved the business to Geelong West where he opened Geelong’s premier fight gym.

John has fought competitors from all over the country and worked with many of Geelong’s elite athletes. He has also travelled to Thailand many times to develop his skills and deepen his passion for the sport.

BRAD MILLARD

After losing 26kgs and getting his type 2 diabetes under control, Brad made the decision to set out and help others on their journey. With a newfound passion for health and fitness, Brad decided to work toward, and attain, his Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness. Taking a job at a local gym he then decided to start building his own business – ‘Brad Millard Fitness’.

After a lot of hard work Brad was able to expand his business. Using his growing brand, Brad put together a team of fitness professionals that could continue to offer his growing clientele base, industry-leading training.
